Hey everyone!
we are incredibly glad to happy to say that we reached 2000 Backers tonight!
That is quite a milestone and I just wanted to thank everyone for putting their trust into this project. We feel very honored and happy to get the opportunity to fulfill this Kickstarter.
So... thank you :)
Also I will update the stretch goal map today, revealing some more stretch goals and I will close the Premium Set II poll.

Steampunk joins the Townbuilder - Stretchgoal Set I poll live!

Hey everyone,
steampunk officially won and will become Premium Set II. I closed the poll and the new one can be found here:

The new option that is available here is SciFi. Not really a genre of tabletop that I am too familiar with, but we will make sure to do our research if it is chosen. Until then excuse my bad description of what I see for the set.
Also: I just updated the stretch goal roadmap and revealed the stretch goals up to 100k.
When we hit 90k, we will conclude stretch goals for the basic sets for the moment. They will then have all features we think are necessary to build almost everything with them. This does not mean that we won't revisit them later on, we just want to focus on the Premium and stretch goal sets from now on. So expect to see some of the earlier stretch goals again, but this time for the premium and stretch goal sets.
And then there is the 100k stretch goal. I already know that there will be people that won't like it. And I get that people want more models, more variety. But I feel like that the Quality of Life Upgrade really deserves its spot on 100k. It nicely portraits the overhaul of the Townbuilder, from a fun side project during our university time, to a product of a company.
And also, what's the use of thousands of models if you get anger issues because the tool misses some convenience features :P
Social stretch goals are also moving along, we have already tracked 13 backers through there, if this pace keeps up we will make it to 100 and unlock the Streets set. So keep sharing the campaign on your socials using the link below

Beta Print-Testers Wanted!

We are getting somewhat close to a point where the Townbuilder won't change too much anymore (in terms of basic concepts).
This will also be the point at which we want to get the first beta print-testers in here. If you have some 3D printing expertise and you are enthusiastic about letting your printer test-print our buildings, please fill out the form below:

Also we revealed two more stretch goals, with the obvious one being Forms for the Comm Set III coming up at 85k and then a quite requested feature: Half or Lower walls. These can be used for the interior of buildings to make everything a bit more open to the view. You will still need to use full walls if you want to stack multiple floors, but if you want to give your players a better overview over smalls rooms and their content, these half as high walls will come in handy. We will start off with the Stone Set, but be sure that more will follow over time.
Let me know what you guys think, and what stretch goals you would like to see as we are slowly creeping up to 100.000€ in the typically slow middle phase of the Kickstarter campaign.

Premium Set I Poll and Community builds

Hey everyone,
since we haven't had an update since a few days, we though it might be nice to catch those of you that have not joined the discord server a bit up to date.
I have been working on the User Experience of the Townbuilder itself while also getting more concept art ready.
Tom has been refining the community library and is preparing a more sophisticated project structure which will allow for more than 1 building in a project and make everything a bit more organized
Monika is getting close to finishing up the basic sets, though we expect small errors and missing models to pop up here and there over the next weeks. She will then soon start with the development of Premium Set I.
If you want to keep a closer eye on the project and actively beta test it, please join our Discord Server. There is a lovely little community growing there :)
Which brings us to the Premium Set I. The Poll will close relatively soon, and with only 800 of our 1700 backers having voted, there is still a lot of wiggle room! So if you haven't voted but want to, be sure to get your vote in there while you still can!
After the poll closes we will start with the development of the set and will create some concept art for it. And of course the second poll will go live right after the first one closes, which will decide Premium Set II!
Almost forgot, I wanted to showcase a community build! I don't want to promote it as a favorite or anything, I just had to choose one project to render, so don't be mad that I did not choose yours. This 'Plonkton Bridge' was built by Adam over in the Townbuilder and I feel like it highlights what kind of crazy stuff the community is creating, cooler buildings than we could ever even imagined.
As far as I could tell all houses in there are actually usable and accessible... So props to Adam and check out the work of all our awesome tester here : Community Library

Hey everyone,
Premium Set I will be Caverns and Sewers. I drew some concept art for it, excuse the messed up perspective, I am a programmer not an artist.
And another note... I could never have imagined what our Beta Users already create with what little tiles we have right now... It is really astonishing. So take this concept art with a grain of salt. My vision for the set will 100% be crushed and exceeded as soon as users get their hands on it.
And with that, the poll for the first set is of course closed. We immediately launched the poll for the second Premium set, which now features "Elves" as an option.
